Drink like royalty: Queen Elizabeth and the Buckingham Palace are now selling gin

The Queen loves a good gin, so we weren’t totally surprised when she decided to launch her own brand (with a beautiful, fancy-looking bottle to boot, wreath of flowers and all). Queen Elizabeth II even made sure to use herbs from her own Buckingham Palace garden to create the concoction, so it’s truly a product of royalty.

Lemon, verbena, hawthorn berries and mulberry leaves, among other plants located in the sprawling gardens of Buckingham Palace are just some of the ingredients of the dry gin, which is priced at £40 or about PHP 2,500. The proceeds will go to the care of the palace.

Check out the bottle (and the Queen’s matching dress–so cute!) below:

The gin will be served at royal events when the Palace opens again at the end of July.
