Purple Tree Bed and Breakfast: A Great Place for Your Christmas Staycation

 

The Christmas season has given us enough reasons to go out of town and enjoy the days with our closest relatives and friends. However, with the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila, we would sometimes just rather stay in a cozy place where we can relax and enjoy the festive vibe.

Purple Tree Bed and Breakfast is located on Presidents Avenue, BF Homes, Paranaque. The newly opened space features a personalized vibe that is suitable for a relaxing holiday with your loved ones. 

 

Before Purple Tree Bed and Breakfast was established, owners Suzy and JJ Atayde discovered a Duhat tree in the center of the lot. Since it serves as a great presence for the area, the Atayde family decided not to tear it down.

 

 

According to JJ, there is no direct translation of the word “Duhat” in the English language, so they named the place Purple Tree Bed and Breakfast instead, in lieu of the purple fruits of the Duhat tree.

 

Purple Tree Bed and Breakfast also allows artists to exhibit different artworks. I was in awe of how every single masterpiece lit up the mood of the B&B!

Aside from these glorious paintings, the B&B also has a courtyard area that features a swimming pool. 

Purple Tree Bed and Breakfast hosts 20 air-conditioned rooms, each uniquely crafted to showcase a unique and charming disposition.

The standard room (PhP2,2000 per night) is where I stayed in. The room exuded a lot of warmth as I stepped inside. I also loved how the room was so neat and clean! 

I was also amazed to get my own key card to ensure my safety inside the room.

 

In my opinion, the most important part of a Christmas staycation is the comfort of the bed. I value sleep a lot because my work is very hectic. As I plunged into their bed, I felt like I won a free ticket to dreamland! The mattress was divinely soft! I had to sing along to Jason Mraz’s song, Sleep All Day…
