Punto De Vista is a Multimedia Exhibit by selected Multimedia Arts student from Asia Pacific College that will be on September 4, 5, and 7, 2015 at the Nova Gallery, Warehouse 12 A La Fuerza Plaza Compound, Don Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City.

Punto De Vista is a multimedia exhibition that aims to create awareness on the misconceptions and stereotypes of being born as a female human being to create equality and empathy on both gender roles. The selective students want to emphasize empowerment that women are more than the make-up and clothes that they wear. The artworks to be showcased include photography and graphic design, studio arts, film and video art installations. These works express the different points of view on the phases of a woman’s life from being born as a female and growing up in a patriarchal society, up to their senior years and how a woman’s life is a recurring struggle for freedom, overcoming fears, and a lifetime search for a higher realization.

The exhibit has partnered with the Gabriela Partylist, and picked Junior Chamber International as their beneficiary. Opening night will be on September 4, 2015, 7pm. There will be an org talk, band and spoken word performances on the opening night for free. The exhibit will run until September 7, 2015.
