Pulseras by Kim: Thoughtful and Customizable Accessories that are Pure Love

 

When in Manila, there is one online store that I’ve been stalking for a few months now. I’ve always been a sucker for thoughtful, handmade customizable gifts, and Pulseras by Kim offers just that. 

I like accessories that are customizable because they make such thoughtful gifts to loved ones. They also make for meaningful gifts to ourselves. It would definitely be a cute reminder to have a keychain or a bracelet embedded with your own personal mantra.

Kimberly Tiam-Lee, the owner of Pulseras by Kim,  also shares a fondness for handmade items. “Handmade items are adorable, and made with so much love and effort, there’s just this quality of perfection in the imperfection of the craft,” Kim said. 

Kim managed Pulseras by Kim while being an Architecture student in UST. She also currently has a full-time job in an Architecture firm from from 9am-6pm, which makes it so amazing how she managed to be so hands-on with her online shop, which included conceptualizing designs, material sourcing, buying the materials, making samples, product testing, photography, packaging, printing and cutting up labels, preparing shipping, answering inquiries and of course, the actual making of the pieces! 

“But I love what I’m doing so it doesn’t feel like work at all,” Kim added.

Aside from keychains, Pulseras by Kim has a variety of other items: necklaces, bracelets, rings, and more. The designs are also varied, and most of all, they could be customized.

While my friends and I were shooting these products, we all had different favorites among the rings. I guess it goes to show that the varied designs of the rings caters to different tastes.
