Potato Corner Opens 100th Store in Thailand—and It Has Corn Dogs!

Bangkok may have GENTLEWOMAN bags, but the Philippines will always have god-tier french fries from Potato Corner, or PotCor as fans affectionately call it.

Oh wait a minute, Potato Corner’s in Thailand, too, and as of today has 100 stores nationwide—from Bangkok to Chiang Mai to Krabi!

Since it first opened in the Philippines in 1992, PotCor has been putting smiles on the faces of people of all ages. Given its success, the smiling spud traveled to numerous international locations throughout the years, including Thailand. And it’s all thanks to CEO Chayapatra Thongcharoen, Thai superstar Peach Chirathivat, and Filipino investor Nicko Falcis.

In the Land of Smiles, it’s not the fries that are currently catching everyone’s eyes in real life and on social media, but the corn dogs

According to Potato Corner Thailand’s Filipino investor Nicko Falcis, their addictive corn dogs are dusted with classic and beloved Potato Corner flavors like BBQ, Cheese, Sour Cream, Chili BBQ, Sweet Corn, Truffle, and Sweet Chili. “We try to excite the market frequently by introducing new

snack formats like corndogs and hotdogs with our best-selling flavors. The Thai Market responds well to flavors that are locally familiar; most of them are spicy and extremely flavorful.”
