Pizza For A Cause is a newly-established online shop that offers delicious homemade pizza. Their main mission is just as straightforward as their name: to support frontline workers through selling pizza.

This project was started by the Lu family. Since the start of the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila, they’ve been giving donations to various hospitals and health centers from their own pockets. But by May, they’ve decided to continue on giving while making it sustainable. That’s when Pizza For A Cause was established. All proceeds from their pizzas would go straight to frontline workers.

Angie Lu, one of the founders of Pizza For A Cause, shares with WhenInManila.com that one of the reasons why they created the project was also to teach their children the importance of giving in these times of crisis. It became a family bonding activity for them while being able to continually support frontline workers.

While the story behind this project is enough to fill your spirits, wait ‘til you actually try one of their homemade pizzas! Each one is made from quality ingredients with a whole lot of love, so the resulting product is delicious.

We couldn’t even believe it was homemade and done by a couple with their kids. The pizzas are restaurant-quality good. And it’s not even on the same level as your favorite pizza chain; this one is so much better!

If you’re planning to get one for yourself, be sure to order early because they only accept 30 orders per day. They currently have two kinds of pizza starting at PHP 549.
