Pino Resto Bar Opens New Branch Along Jupiter St. in Makati
Earlier today as I stood in front of their newly opened 2nd branch along Jupiter St in Makati, I truly felt very happy to see a 2nd restaurant to actually materialize!
Â
Â
During our first feature about Pino Resto Bar a year ago, we knew then that they will go a long way. When we heard about the opening of their new branch, I knew we had to feature them again to let the public know more about it!Â
Â
Â
Â
so glad to see that  Pino Resto Bar’s branch along Jupiter St in Makati is more spacious than their Maginhawa branch!
Â
Â
Â
Today is indeed a day of thanks and another perfect time to celebrate with friends whom I haven’t seen for quite some time so I invited them over for lunch!
Â
Â
Â
Fine Filipino Food – This is what Pino is to me! Â The only fusion restaurant I really dig! I’m a big fan of the very creative dishes they make and whenever I get invited to talks and when people ask me about my recommended Filipino restaurants, Pino is definitely one of the handful names I mention. I tend to be very loyal with the places I visit once I get really impressed!
Â
Â
For this visit, we tried out the ones we’ve never tasted….Â
Â
Nori Cheese Sticks
I was so sure that my cheese buddy Badeth was gonna order this! Been eating nori (Japanese dried seaweed) Â since I was a kid and I loved the combination a lot!

Â
Â
Â
Â
Tofu Balls
another light and creamy starter by Pino. I think their pesto dip should have more “kick” though. Â Must try!
Â
Â
Â
Â
Tempura Oysters and Pearls
fancy presentation! Made me wanna hit the beach soon! I noticed most of their appetizers were Japanese inspired… hmmmmm

Â
Â
Tempura Oysters and Pearls
as said a while ago, the presentation looked really fancy. It did taste like tempura however, I didn’t get to taste the oyster much for it was overpowered by the batter
Â
Â
Â
Â
Seafood Gambas Aligue Pasta
Too bad their Seafood Tuyo Pesto wasn’t available that day so Badeth tried this instead
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Crispy Pata with Laing
I’ve been dreaming of this for the longest time! Laing and any crispy meat are some things I couldn’t resist! The laing tasted very traditional.. very much like home cooking! You have to have lots of self control if you’re planning to devour on this! lols
Â
Â
Â
Â
Nilasing na Adobong Kambing
Kuya Mel’s order! Looks very tempting! MMmmmmmmmmm
I think I should order this next time!
Â
Â
Â
Â
Crispy Hito with Ensaladang Talong
I heard Yang likes hito and talong a lot, no wonder she had this. Very satisfying she said!
Â
Â
Â
Â
Coffee Crusted Beef Belly
Pino owner PJ Lanot  recommended me to try their new dish and boy was it damn good! I never thought coffee would go so well with beef! Loved the caramelized onions on the side! MUST TRY!
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
and for our sweets endings…
Â
Fita Tiramisu!
Super love! Italy meets Pinas! Whoever thought of this must be a genius!
Â
Â
Â
Â
Dulce de Leche Cheesecake
artfully plated as you can see! perfect for people who are into sweets! I found this to be overly sweet for me though
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
great food + great company is still the formula if you wanna bring bliss to any day!
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Expect a lot of Filipino food  satisfaction with each Pino experience when in Manila!
