Pico Astro Camp: Marvel Through the Stars this Summer

Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered what the stars, moon and planets look like up close? This summer, kids and adults alike will get the chance to explore the heavens at the Pico Astro Camp and summer stargazing activity on April 26, 2014.
The Pico Astro Camp, in partnership with the country’s foremost Astrophysicist Dr. Rogel Sese, Ph.D and Regulus Spacetech, aims to teach astronomy and space science through exciting and interactive games and activities.
Children ages 5-10 years old will learn more about the planets and the solar system with an afternoon of fun arts and crafts projects. Children ages 11-15 years old will have a blast racing homemade rockets they built themselves. Fees are Php1,200 per person for members and Php1,500 per person for non-members.
Following the popularity of the first summer stargazing activity last March 15, another session will be held on April 26 at 6:00 PM. Families can see constellations, planets and more through the lens of powerful specialized telescopes.
