Limjoco’s trip is part of PFA’s aggressive promotion of the Manila-hosting of the prestigious event to attract as many foreign delegates from all over the world.  Limjoco, who also sits as vice chair of PFA (right) conferred with Gaurav Marya (center), president of Franchise India and managing editor of Francorp India, and Ritu Marya (left), editor-in-chief of Franchise India on the possibility of setting up an Indian Pavilion at Franchise Asia 2011, which runs from Sept. 22 – 25 this year at the SMX convention Center, Manila.  Marya, once dubbed as the “Father of Indian Franchising” for sparking the franchising revolution in the sub-continent, is looking into bringing with him some of the emerging trends and exciting concepts in Indian franchising according to Limjoco.  A four-in-one event, Franchise Asia 2011 features a two-day international franchise conference with concurrent breakout sessions and seminars;  a one-stop shop three-day international franchise expo; and franchise seminars. The event also holds the twin meetings of the World Franchise Council (WFC) and the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC), which gathers the most prominent names from 42 countries and six continents.  This is the second time the Philippines, through PFA, is hosting Franchise Asia. The first one was held in 2001 which opened a floodgate of opportunities for the franchising and business sectors.
