Presenting University of the Philippines One Earth’s (UPOE) sem-starter party, Tokë: Going Back to Our Roots at Patio de Manila on August 18, 2017! Your night starts at 8 PM with free-flowing food and drinks for those ready to get wild. With music from DJ Jei Rioveros, and DJ Paul Chandler, along with home-grown bands from UP Manila, where else can you dance and jam the night away? Along with Tanduay Rhum, Tanduay Select and Smirnoff Mule, your entertainment, and liquid confidence to socialize with anyone are guaranteed. Getting around the concrete jungle won’t be a problem as our partner, Uber Philippines, got you covered. All this and more ensure that Tokë is the place to be – a place to be free, hassle-free.
As it seeks to advocate environmental awareness as well as to promote friendship and companionship among students, UPOE aims to empower the youth by molding them into responsible young environmental leaders for the betterment of not just the environment, but also of humanity.
Staying true to its founding objectives, Tokë also intends to aid our brothers and sisters in Marawi as it serves as a fundraiser for the Mindanao city’s relief operations.
For a price of only 280 pesos for pre-ordered tickets, and 300 pesos for gate tickets, you could not only have the best college experience yet but also help free Filipino victims of war and conflict from their struggles.
