If you love to travel, world flavors, and eat (or perhaps you simply just love to eat), here’s a new modern bistro for you! Olivia & Co. just opened its doors this August 2017 at Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City, bringing in all-time favorite flavors from Asia and around the world from its mother branch in Singapore. It’s basically comforting food, new exciting dishes, coffee and cakes, milkshakes, and a lot more from around the world all in one venue!
Olivia & Co. at BGC is the brand’s first and only branch here in the Philippines. Yes, that’s right! Feel special as this place is exclusive only for Uptown Mall goers.
The Opening
We were lucky to have been invited as the owners of Olivia & Co. Philippines cut the ribbon to signal that this modern bistro is now officially open. There, we had a taste of their signature dishes such as varied sliders, pasta, wings, and cakes! It’s really worth coming back to again and again.
Globetrotter Interior
Embrace a whimsical vintage vibe as you enter the place. It can accommodate 70 people and has a bar if you feel like getting a drink after a long day. Olivia & Co. was named after the first wife of the proprietor, Sir Stamford Raffles. Olivia loves to travel and so the bistro was inspired by her journey and experiences.
The walls have figures of different iconic landmarks around the world. Do you see the planes?

Look around as Olivia & Co. has a kid-friendly layout which entices the whole family to eat, even kids! Everywhere we looked, we saw stylish designs and accents, although these didn’t compromise the comfy vibe.
World Flavors in One Menu
They don’t have the mantra “The World Is Our Home” for nothing. The menu comes in a wide range of cuisines for all-day dining. They serve favorites from Asia–Laksa Pasta and Thai Beef Salad from Thailand, Kimchi Pasta and Seoul Wings from Korea, Tokyo Wings for your Japanese cravings and a lot more! They also serve western dishes such as Fish and Chips, Angus Striploin Steak & Fries, and White Wine Mussels. Also, the Fisherman Squid Ink Pasta is a must-try.

If you’re craving burgers, they also have a list to choose from. Some of them are Pulled Pork Burger, Hangover Burger, and the most intriguing for me, Soft Shell Crab Burger. It’s my first time to see this one on the menu! It’s composed of tempura soft-shell crab, sesame slaw, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and fries.
For waffle fans, they’ve got cool names for their waffles on the menu. Have you ever heard of Snorlax Waffles? It includes berry compote, savory bacon pieces, honey, sliced bananas, homemade peanut butter sauce, and ice cream!

For desserts, I must say Passion Fruit White Cheesecake stands out. It’s citrusy on its surface, but the cheesecake part is so creamy! It’s made of a creamy-white chocolate body with a jelly-like passion-fruit glaze. Of course, Olivia has her signature cake! It’s carrot cake layered with cream cheese which was handmade from scratch to plate. Also, I can’t set Sticky Date Cake aside. It’s a tasty textured cake with warm homemade butterscotch sauce and they serve it with vanilla ice cream. My heart is glad these pastries are specially handmade or homemade.

What Would You Like To Drink? Name it, they have it.
Olivia & Co. has a long list of brews, milkshakes, smoothies, and even superfood juices! The best part? They also serve red and white wine any time of the day! You’ll see Nutmare Milkshake in your dreams as it is one of the best milkshakes we’ve ever tried. It’s m&ms, peanuts, Oreos, KitKat, caramel sauce, chocoholics, and ice cream altogether.

Happiness in a cup! They serve coffee in any way you like it from 100-165 php.
Why We Love Olivia & Co.
We love it because it caters everyone. Plus, it’s situated nearby business districts and establishments where there are lots of busy working people, making this bistro perfect for lunch meetings or dinner. I can also imagine myself beating my deadlines here while having my favorite comfort food from their menu. I must say that the vibe at Olivia & Co. would relax anyone even during a tough day. The best part? It’s convenient to do stuff and because they have free wi-fi access and charging, too!
Chill with your besties on a Friday night too, with a lovely glass of Trivento Malbec from Argentina.
