North Zen Villas’ Deluxe Room can accommodate two guests. With a total floor area of 40 sqm, it has two semi-double beds and a bathroom with outdoor garden view.
North Zen Villas’ Suite is also good for two guests. With a total floor area of 70 sqm, it has one king bed, an air-conditioned living room, and a bathroom.
If you need more space, there is also a villa-type accommodation with a total floor area of 83 sqm that can house up to four guests. This lodging has two semi-double beds and one super king bed. It features an air-conditioned living room, dining room, and bathroom with an outdoor garden view.
All of the lodgings have exquisite architecture and interiors that are inspired by Boholano artistry. Rich amenities are included to provide everyone the same level of luxury and comfort, such as a 43” LED cable TV, free Wi-Fi access, a mini-bar, a safe, daily housekeeping, a balcony, a hot and cold shower, a hair dryer, slippers, and this gorgeous private bathtub:
A stone’s throw from Tagbilaran Airport, North Zen Villas offers the peace and quiet you will need away from the busy city. Their swimming pool provides the utmost relaxation with pool chairs and beanbeds for you to chill at.
You can even order refreshing fruit shakes and fruit juices whilst there, which we especially love because they taste like genuine fruits sans the overkill of ice and sugar. Conversely, you may also order cocktails and sip some booze by the poolside at night since the pool closes at 9PM.
If you happen to be craving some sand between your toes, you may walk to Doljo Beach, which is just a few minutes walk away from the villas.
Doljo Beach is just a small stretch of white sand, but definitely enough to soak up some sun for a while and to enjoy the gorgeous view of the sea.

Of course, no stay is enough without some great grub. For breakfast, you have a lot of hearty choices, from Filipino favorites to American breakfast options to healthy choices, depending on your mood in the morning.
We tried all of it, and everything was extremely delicious and so filling, we were hardly able to finish them all (but we did anyway because everything was so good). For the best experience, eat your food al fresco for a great view and some fresh air.
Breakfast aside, North Zen Villas is the ultimate haven for health buffs as they have super healthy items on their menu.
Asian Prosperity Slaw Salad (Php450)
If you’re craving for salad, try their Asian Prosperity Slaw Salad. This is perfect for those who are looking for something light but aren’t exactly pros when it comes to choosing salad yet. It’s like cole slaw, but a bit sweeter.
Mushroom Burger and Veggie Tempura (Php450)
If you’re craving for a filling burger, their Mushroom Burger is a healthy and delicious option. It comes with vegetable tempura on the side, so you can have some sweet potatoes and eggplants, as well.
Beef Pappardelle Pasta (Php420)
Another filling, but healthy-ish dish is their Beef Pappardelle Pasta, which we were told is made of whole wheat noodles. It actually tastes better than regular noodles, in my opinion!
Healthy Blends (Php210)
North Zen Villas also has a bunch of Healthy Blends that you need to try. From left to right in the photo, we tried the Apple-Carrot Blend, the Bitter-Apple Blend, and the Cherry-Cabbage Blend. The latter was my favorite!
You may also order food from your villa and have it delivered there for the utmost convenience.
To complete your relaxing staycation, book a massage at Zenses, the Spa.
Here, you can choose from different oils (heating oils, cooling oils, etc.) and types of massages (you can download their full spa menu on their website – link at the bottom of the article).
You can get a couples’ room with a beautiful bathtub for an unforgettable experience.
It’s fairly easy to get around from North Zen Villas, as well. They can book tricycles for you should you need to leave and go somewhere farther away. Plus, there are helpful locals nearby who can suggest affordable tours for you should you want to do something more tourist-y in Bohol.
Bohol isn’t always top of mind for people who are looking to go on vacation in the Philippines, but with so much to do in the area and such a peaceful place to stay at, we’d highly recommend spending your next vacation here, particularly at North Zen Villas.
