Neil Arce revealed to friends and family through a vlog post that he got a special tattoo dedicated to his wife, Angel Locsin, a month after they tied the knot!
Promoting the new video on his Instagram page, Neil wrote: “They said never tattoo a girl on your body. So I did.”
Neil started off the vlog by taking viewers on a trip to the tattoo shop and showing them the process of getting a tattoo done. He went on to spend five hours getting his new ink — his 12th in total — which he said was in honor of Angel.

“First time ko magpa-tattoo [It’s my first time to get tattooed] for a girl. For my wife. I will only do that for my wife syempre [of course]. I know I’ll be with her forever,” he told viewers.
He later showed the end result: a pair of angel wings across his chest done by artist Pablo Tobias.
In reaction to the video, Angel shared the teaser on her own Instagram page and joked, “Kung para sakin talaga yan, ba’t hindi tattoo sa kilay ang ginawa mo para sabay tayo? [If that’s really for me, why didn’t you get an eyebrow tattoo instead so we would get it together?]”
“Sige sabayan kita tattoo sa kilay sabayan mo ko patattoo ako shades [Okay, I’ll go get an eyebrow tattoo with you if you agree for us to get a pair of shades tattooed on our faces],” Neil answered in jest.
Neil also discussed in the video his opinions on getting tattoos and lamented over the common prejudice against those who, like him, do get them. “Hindi ko ilalagay yung sarili ko sa sitwasiyon na iju-judge ako sa looks ko or iju-judge ako sa personal preference ko kung anong gusto ko ilagay sa katawan ko [I would never put myself in the situation where I would be judged for my looks or my personal preferences regarding what I want to put on my body],” he said.
