London-based film critic TC Candler’s “100 Most Beautiful Faces List” was released a few days ago on YouTube. An annual tradition since 1990, TC Candler’s list aims to “represent the modern ideal of beauty”, as listed in the video’s description. While the team behind the list, The Independent Critics, gathers suggestions from the public, they are ultimately the sole decision makers. Their list comes down to one criterion: aesthetic perfection.
This year, the list holds individuals from about 40 different countries — and three of them are homegrown Pinay beauties! Liza Soberano, Jessy Mendiola, and Nadine Lustre place on the list as 4th, 55th, and 70th, respectively.

Nadine Lustre’s rank went up from 78th in 2017 to 70th in 2018!Â

In 2017, Liza Soberano topped the list as the most beautiful face in the world
Since this is Liza Soberano’s fourth appearance on the list, it means induction into the Independent Critics’ Hall of Fame. She will be joining the likes of Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot, Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, and pop star Selena Gomez, who all ranked this year as well.
