Actress Nadine Lustre is starring in a new movie and this time, it’s without her on- and off-screen beau, James Reid. Her new film will be called Ulan and she’ll be starring with Carlo Aquino, AJ Muhlach, and Marco Gumabao.
The full trailer has been released and we still don’t know what it is about exactly. But it looks gorgeous and we can’t wait to see it in cinemas.

In the trailer, we see Lustre interacting with the rain. At one point, she says that it rains every time something good happens to her. And yet we still have no clue about the premise, especially the ones with the parts with the tikbalang (a half-man and half-horse mythological creature), a class full of anthropomorphic eggs, and a strange-looking woman in a wedding dress in bed.
Lustre told ABS-CBN that Ulan is “about finding yourself and learning to love yourself. This is what I really stand for, you know? Self-love.” According to director Irene Villamor, it’s about a young woman and the three different kinds of love she experiences.
Villamor is also behind the films Camp Sawi, Meet Me in St. Gallen, and Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story.
Ulan will be released on March 13, 2019.
