Well, we’ve got good news! Museums and historical sites in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces are now allowed to open at up to 20 percent venue capacity as per the latest guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID). Of course, they are all subject to the health and safety restrictions of the Department of Tourism (DOT) while the NCR+ region is still under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) with restrictions. Make sure to book a reservation online if you plan on visiting any museums soon to ensure that you have a slot.

The National Museum of the Philippines complex in Rizal Park, Manila reopened its doors a few days ago on June 19, 2021, on the day of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 160th birth anniversary. Will you be visiting any museums anytime soon?
