Multi-Awarded Polish Chamber Choir To Perform In Manila

This July, the multi-awarded Choir of the University of Silesia Harmonia from Poland will bring their world-renowned music to Manila for the first time. In collaboration with the University of the Philippines Manila Chorale, Harmonia will stage a concert at the Abelardo Hall Auditorium, College of Music, University of the Philippines Diliman on July 19 at 7:00 pm.

With its more than 100 years of existence, the group has become a trademark of world-class choral music in Cieszyn, Poland. Besides its several international awards, Harmonia has also recorded for radio and television, issued 10 CDs with EMI Records, and performed in numerous concerts and festivals around the world. On July 20-23, Harmonia is set to compete in the 3 rd Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
