Moores Rowland Philippines Commenced the First Entraprofessionals Summit 2017

Ms. Aguirre

Moores Rowland Philippines – Professionals of the Future established their mission to be the Next Big Thing in the professional industry and build a family of extraordinary professionals as they launched the first Grand Entraprofessionals Summit 2017 at the Sapphire A-B of the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center, Pasig City last September 15 and 16.

The successful event was graced and kicked off by Neil Uy Sison and Alina Corillo-Sison, the Owners of SJC Group of companies, the umbrella that binds the Moores Rowland Philippines together with its affiliate companies, Aktus Global Management Inc. (AGM- an IT firm), i4One Inc. (training, sales and marketing firm) and Sison Corillo Parone & Co. (SCP- one of the top accounting firms in the Philippines).

The two-day conference lived up to its marketing promise to serve as a platform for comprehensive learning and discovery. With the theme “Accounting Growth: Indispensable, Inevitable, Insatiable,” it provided a venue for career and business opportunities and network. On top of all those, CPAs earned their certificates and BOA-accredited CPD units in a very fun, relaxed and sociable environment.

One of the highlights of the summit was the awarding ceremony for the Entraprofessional Accountants. An honorary plaque was awarded to 27 extraordinary accountants as recognition for being inspirational leaders who made a difference and extraordinary contributions and performance in the accounting industry for this year 2017.

One of the awardees is the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director, Atty. Dante Gierran who is a Certified Public Accountant and a Lawyer by profession. He was also a speaker during the first day of the summit who discoursed about fraud. Joining the list of awardees is Estelita Caleon-Aguirre, former Deputy Commissioner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), who is now the incumbent Executive Director of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, (PICPA) who also gave a talk about career options during day two of the summit.

The summit is guaranteed to be an annual trade conference and exhibit designed to gather extraordinary professionals, geared to facilitate a convenient, effective, and conducive venue for both CPAs and non-CPAs to take on relevant issues impacting their respective practice. In fact, next year’s Entraprofessionals Summit 2018 is already in the process with the theme, “Breakthrough.”

The summit was a project of the Professionals of the Future (POF) – a program under Moores Rowland Philippines which offers training and certification programs for all professions.
