Get into the True Spirit of Mid-Autumn Festival at Manila Hotel

When In Manila, the Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival is one of the most celebrated events in the Chinese calendar. During the harvest season, when the moon is at its fullest and roundest, family and friends gather to dance, feast, and moon gaze. At the center of the Chinese festivities are the colorful and tasty moon cakes – special kind of sweet cakes prepared in the shape of the moon, filled with a rich and tasty filling and a salted egg yolk at the center.
