Mom and Tina’s
When in Manila, nothing beats home-cooked food. It’s very comforting, and often makes us feel good and warm inside even after a very bad day.
But when you are miles away from home, where will you go for that home-cooked goodness?
One rainy Thursday, Mimai, Cholo, and I visited Mom and Tina’s restaurant in Katipunan. Tired from the weariness brought by everyday routines and daily issues, we decided to take a break and fill our tummies with their yummy dishes and an early afternoon chitchat.
Over lunch we had:
Their best selling Caesar Salad
Chicken Alexander
Chicken Spinach Lasagna
Paella
Lamb Shoulder Chops
Chicken N’ Chips
Big Momma Burger
U. S. Roast Beef
Aside from home cooked meals, Mom and Tina’s is also famous for their pastries:
We were all smiles after our lunch! Although the weather was as bad as the traffic jam, I know we left Mom and Tina’s with a happy heart and a happier stomach.
Make sure you bring your friends and family to Mom and Tina’s when in Manila. It’s one of those places where you can rest your soul (and sole), by catching up with your loved ones’ stories over a hearty meal.
