After the release of Hi-C’s classic “Body Talk” album in 2009 & Mobbstarr’s “Heartbreaker” single in 2010, the real evolution of MobbStarr took place – from being the sensational hip-hop group from the Queen City, then dubbed as Dice & K-9, the power couple ventured into the night scene with their own, Club Holic brand with great success! Soaking up all the work and getting their hands on experience of using music to expand their city’s grasp on night culture, pop sensibilities, hip-hop roots and now the fledgling electro dance movement; Mobbstarr kept leading the way.
For many fans, this was nothing new – their new single “Hold On” is anticipated with great excitement as a natural progression from the time they teased fans with “Eargasmic” and several singles after that!
Mobbstarr is gearing towards where music is bound to be, you could say years ahead each time they come out. Personifying the sound, the look, and the lifestyle. Despite being hands on in their club; they travel the world – do their music in their own terms and bringing in a new face, Garvie – to add more firepower on tracks!
