Renowned book author Mitch Albom known best for his novels “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” and “Tuesdays with Morrie” is coming to Manila!
He will be doing a free book signing event on February 15 to 16, 2020 at SM Megamall and Alabang Town Center, respectively. It is organized by National Bookstore. Those who want to meet him can RSVP here.
It has been nearly 6 years since Mitch Albom last visited the Philippines. He did a book tour in 2014 and also donated boats to the fishermen who were affected by the typhoon Yolanda during the time he was here.
He recently launched his new memoir titled “Finding Chika” which tells the story of a girl named Chika Jeune, whom he met at the Have Faith Haiti Mission and Orphanage in Port-au-Prince which Albom directs and visits regularly, and whose short life had changed Albom’s world completely.
