‘Miracle in Cell No. 7‘ is one of the first Korean movies I had watched that really brought me to tears – and not just regular tears, either; but actual hagulgol, I-thought-I-might-die tears. So, when they announced that there would be a Filipino adaptation, I was a bit worried. Will they be able to capture the same emotions? Will Aga Muhlach be able to pull off the role? Will everyone else be able to do the movie justice?
Well, the first teaser for the movie has finally been released, and it turns out I didn’t need to worry because it looks like it’s gonna be an absolute tear fest – as it should be. Watch the teaser here:

The Filipino version of ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ will be out in cinemas on December 25, 2019 as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2019, and will star Xia Vigor, Joel Torre, JC Santos, Bela Padilla, Tirso Cruz III, Mon Confiado, Soliman Cruz, and Jojit Lorenzo alongside Aga.
