Michael V wants to make his Christmas and his birth month more special this year.

On Instagram, the actor shared with fans and followers the current progress of his home which is being renovated and what he realized during the process. “Habang naglilipat kami, napansin namin kung ga’no karami sa gamit namin ang hindi na namin ginagamit. Meron nga ring mga bago pa na hindi pa nagagamit ever (While we were moving, we realized how much stuff we have that we don’t use anymore. There are even things that are still brand new that we haven’t touched ever),” he said.

“Parang na-guilty ako. Na-realize ko na (I kind of felt guilty. I realized that) I have everything I need and everything I want AND MORE!” he added. He then shared that he and his family decided to donate their extra stuff to charities and to friends and relatives who will be able to enjoy and benefit from what they don’t need.

He also revealed what he had requested to his friends and relatives for the holidays: no gifts this December.

“I mean, no physical items,” he explained. “Hindi sa ayaw kong makatanggap ng kahit ano this Christmas and birthday ko, pero kung magre-regalo kayo baka pwedeng any of the following na lang (It’s not that I don’t want to receive anything for Christmas and for my birthday, but if you’re going to give me a gift, maybe give me the following instead): a prayer for good health, a simple, sincere greeting, [and] a like, follow or subscribe sa (to the) social media accounts ko (of mine).”

He continued: “Biruin mo, hindi ka na mahihirapan mag-isip ng ibibigay, siguradong maa-appreciate ko pa! (Just think, you won’t have a hard time thinking of what to give and I’ll surely appreciate it too!) It’s a win-win situation! Happy Holidays everyone! Hope we all discover the true meaning of Christmas this year.”
