Actor McCoy de Leon has confirmed his split with Elisse Joson in a series of now-deleted Instagram stories where he also set the record straight that he did not cheat on her despite what netizens are claiming.
The 27-year-old star first asked for forgiveness from fans before denying the authenticity of the screenshot of an alleged sweet conversation that he had with an online influencer. “Sorry po pasensya na po sa inyong lahat,” he wrote. “Hindi po totoo yung mga convo na kumakalat. Hindi po ako yun. Pasensya na po ulit.”
He then assured everyone that the reason behind his split with Elisse was not because of a third party and expressed hope that people would believe him.
“Wala po involve na ibang tao ang pinaka rason kaya kami naghiwalay. Sana po maniwala kayo,” he continued. “Hindi ko po intensyon na manakit ng tao o manloko. Sadyang dumating lang po sa point na sobrang bigat lang ng problema kaya po ako sumuko.”

As of writing, Elisse has yet to issue her own statement.
Breakup rumors began to spread when McCoy penned a heartfelt post to their daughter, Felize, on Instagram in which he apologized for his shortcomings and asked her to be kind to her mom. The entire caption had been edited after it had trended online and now only reads: “Lagi mong tatandaan na mahal na mahal kita“.
The two met as housemates in “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” where they developed romantic feelings for each other and eventually became real-life partners. They briefly broke up in March 2018 after going through a rough patch. They then revealed that they had gotten back together before March 2020 and welcomed their first daughter in April 2021, only revealing it in November of the same year.
