We love that moment when Pia Wurtzbach looked for Maxine Medina first and hugged her tight. Pia even posted on Instagram that Maxine was a queen and no one can tell her otherwise.
Then there was the artwork by an art student from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Neal Alday.
The artwork shows Wurtzbach and Medina’s hug wearing red and blue gowns with a yellow halo effect in the background.
A friend sums the painting up: “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT. WOMEN SUPPORTING SUCCESSFUL WOMEN, CELEBRATING EACH OTHER’S VICTORY AND HAVING EACH OTHER’S BACK WHENEVER. THIS. IS. FEMINISM. THIS IS SOLIDARITY. ” She shouts it in all caps. It’s that beautiful.
We have been around women hating each other too much. This is a refreshing sight, right?
