Masungi Georeserve: This Video Will Make You Feel Like You’re Flying Over Giant Boulders and Webs

Masungi Georeserve has been the talk of the town lately.

There is a recent dispute among the people preserving the georeserve, illegal loggers, and illegal settlers. The team behind Masungi need us to rally behind them. Hopefully, they can continue their preservation efforts.

Aside from that, Masungi Georeserve is becoming a popular tourist destination.

It is notable for its ginormous web-like viewing platform that gives a picturesque view of Laguna de Bay.

Christine Ongson Photography shared with us recently a nice video showing Masungi Georeserve. Video was taken by a drone so it makes you feel like flying over the ginormous georeserve when watching it.

Travel Series: MASUNGI GEORESERVE (Watch in HD)

Masungi Georeserve is a conservation area in Rizal that aims to sustainably protect the 68 million year old limestone rock formations, flora, and fauna within it. Masungi’s name is derived from the word “masungki” which translates to “spiked” – an apt description for the sprawling limestone landscape found within.
