Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal were among the most loved love teams of the 90s to early 2000s and, to this day, they have remained good friends despite not ending up together in real life.
But as a treat to fans, Marvin and Jolina held a virtual reunion via Instagram Live on Monday night, April 20, wherein they gave an update on their lives during quarantine and answered questions from those who attended.

Among the questions asked of them was whether the sequel to their 1998 hit romantic comedy, “Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang?”, is still coming. “Hindi ko nga alam kung kailan (Even I’m not sure when),” Jolina answered, though she still remains hopeful that it will still happen in the future.
Marvin then added, “Tapusin muna po natin ang COVID. Medyo priority po natin ngayon ay mabuhay tayong lahat. Huwag po kayong mag-alala, pwede naman kami mag IG Live at gawin namin ang mga eksena.”
(“Let’s wait until the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s more of a priority for all of us to stay healthy. Don’t worry, we can still do an IG Live and act out the scenes for you.”)
Another fan then asked if the two would have ended up together if Jolina wasn’t already married.
Laughing, Jolina replied, “Nako naman. Na-friendzone nga. (Oh my goodness. He was already friendzoned.)”
Marvin likewise shared, “Na-friendzone ako eh. Hindi ko pa po nalalabas ‘yung side ng story ko kasi wala pang ‘The Buzz.’ Kapag nagbukas po ang ‘The Buzz,’ ako ang unang guest.”
(“I was already friendzoned. I haven’t told my side of the story because “The Buzz” is no longer around. If “The Buzz” makes a comeback, I’ll be the first guest.”)
OMG! Guess we’ll have to wait before Marvin finally spills the tea.
