Big news hit the business community as Tycoon Manny V.
Pangilinan or MVP stepped down as President and CEO of PLDT Inc.
Though MVP will remain as the chairman of PLDT, he is passing off his position to the company’s Chief Revenue Officer Alfredo Panlilio.
In the company’s online shareholder’s meeting, MVP announced the change in management.
“At the end of this meeting, I will discharge my duty as president and CEO of PLDT.
I’ve asked Al to succeed me in this position”, he said.
MVP has been PLDT’s President for the past 23 years. “It has been an unparalleled privilege to have served you and this company as your CEO. It has indeed been a remarkable walk with destiny”, he shared.
PLDT is just one of the companies that MVP is heading, he also has a huge market share in health care, energy, water and media businesses.
