After five years, Mandy Moore returns to the big screen with 47 Meters Down, a suspense movie featuring hungry sharks. A lot of them. The film is about two sisters, played by Mandy Moore and Claire Holt, who go to Mexico for a relaxing vacation by the beach. New friends have convinced them to go cage diving to watch great white sharks, and although hesitant, Lisa (Mandy Moore) finally agrees. But the supposed fun dive turns into a nightmare as the rope holding the cage they were in breaks. And drops to the ocean floor, 47 meters below.

There’s been a discussion around the movie as some viewers are commenting that this is another misrepresentation of sharks, who, some argue, would never attack just because. Unlike as usually portrayed in Hollywood movies.
