Move over, bento box: Manam now has “Benta Boxes”

Bento boxes are a staple in Japan, and many countries, including the Philippines, have adopted the concept because it’s just so convenient. Each box comes with rice, a selection of viands, and vegetables— a balanced meal made for single consumption.

Plus, the good thing about single-portion meals is that it’s hassle-free and mess-free. The moment you’re done eating, you either throw out the container or wash it and you’re done, just like that. No leftovers to reheat, and you’re sure to have fresh food every time.

And boy, do we have got news for you. Our neighborhood Filipino restaurant Manam just rolled out their Manam Bento Box: Solo Moment Meals, and yes, it’s like a Bento box— only better. By the looks of it, they’re packed with hearty portions of your local favorites. These include the signature House Sisig of Manam paired with Garlic Rice, their modern take on the Sinigang— the Sinigang na Beef Short Rib and Watermelon— and even their creamy Gising-gising, just to name a few.

Just take a look at their selection. They’ve got Filipino classics and even local dishes with a modern twist. Yummy!
