Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival 2014: Experience Fusion of Music,Nature,Arts and Culture
WhenInManila, one the greatest things that should be on your bucket list for  this summer is the one of a kind music and arts experience in the Asia-Pacific; the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival 2014 which will be held on February 27 to March 3 at the breathtaking natural amphitheater situated at the foothills of majestic Mt. Malasimbo in Puerto Galera.
This year is the fourth year of the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival which started 2011. One of the reasons that makes this feast exciting is the lineup of artists who will perform and this year will be more packed as the festival is now a 5-day event. The performances of the Filipino-blooded artists like Mishka Adams and Low Leaf are the ones that should not be missed on the event. The Swedish folk singer, songwriter and guitarist Jose Gonzales, whose cover of Heartbeats by The Knife was included in One Tree Hill’s album, is also on the roll and he will definitely be a charm. Also, expect more jazz on the event as American-pianist Robert Glasper Experiment and Roy Ayers & Lonnie Liston Smith joined the current list. Look forward to the afro-beat of the reggae legends Kooii and Brisbane’s boy band The Melotonins.
Aside from great music, the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival showcases the works of different artists from different parts of the world, environment, and the indigenous people of Mindoro (the Mangyans), and their rich culture – truly a fusion of nature, arts and ethnicity.
 More artists to come! The final announcement of the line-up will be out on the 1st week of February.
