Make our moms say WOW! at The Mom Wow Zumba Party
It’s time to show love to our moms this May because it’s their month! In celebrating this special day with our dearest mothers, a lot of gimmicks will surely be on our list just so we can surprise them with a big smile on their face. Flowers, chocolates, letters or even a treat to the salon will surely be on top our list as these are the traditional way of celebrating Mother’s day.
Well now, you don’t have to buy her flowers or chocolates because a new and a more exciting way of celebrating Mother’s day has come to our way as Karl Edward International recently held its “Mom Wow” Zumba Party that rocked the whole Samsung hall of SM Aura Premier last May 11, 2014.
Moms, together with their kids, danced to the beat of fitness and wellness as Live Love Party “Mom Wow” featured mother and son/daughter tandems from the Zumba Instructor Network of the Philippines that graced the big event with a lively groove that made the party a WOW!
The event was led by the Zin Zumba instructors together with their kids, including Florian Enriquez and her daughters Madelle and Kristie, Myra and her daughter Mariton, Roi and her son Jigs, Laila and her daughter Chanel, Amie and her daughter Cams, and Miriam and her daughter Tyn. This made the celebration a family bonding day for everyone, which made the guests appreciate the precious time they had with their families especially with their moms.
In cooperation with Joma and Mrs. Globe Philippines, the Mom Wow was welcomed with some activities for the precious kids of our special mothers, and what made it more exciting is the kids’ special zumba number that highlighted the kick-off. Of course, with the zumba instructors, guest moms sweat off all their energy into the dance floor as they danced to non-stop music that banged the whole Samsung Hall.
Madelle Paltu-ob of KEI and her daughters, Maia and Bella, also showed off their dancing moves on-stage as they taught one song to all the guests.
Mom Wow event made mothers’ day a truly special one. For most of the mothers who participated in this one of a kind celebration, happiness is more than enough to express how much they felt most especially because they have celebrated it with their kids. “At least we are able to experience something new, healthier and relaxing for ourselves. I truly enjoyed the energy of zumba, it makes me feel sexy!,” one mom said.
Of course, the event would not be complete without knowing who would be the “Super Wow Mom”, and Hester Kho got lucky for this title! For Mr. and Ms. Rexona, Mark Balatucan and Aiza De Baron were the chosen one.
