BREAKING: Kidnapping Along Paseo de Roxas Confirmed By Makati Police

A video allegedly depicting a kidnapping quickly went viral late Monday night, December 9. The video shows a girl being dragged inside a white or gray van while screaming and struggling. Witness accounts state that the incident took place along Paseo de Roxas in Makati City at around 9 pm.

Netizens claim that the woman was using Mandarin and shouted what can roughly be translated to a call of help. Bystanders report that the plate number of the car is either LLA 880 or LSA 880. The kidnapping is said to have transpired near Greenbelt 1, along Paseo de Roxas cor. Nieva St. Salustiana D TY Building side.

The Makati police have confirmed the incident to be a kidnapping. Follow-up operations are now ongoing according to Makati police investigations chief Major Gideon Ines.

Ines also reports that “paperwork” was found along the street and among it was an ID. However, the owner of the ID was not revealed.
