MAFBEX 2014 Hits World Trade Center: A Foodie’s Haven for All Things Delicious
The downpour did not stop exhibitors from showcasing their wide array of products at the World Trade Center last June 11-13 for the 8th Manila Food and Beverage Expo (MAFBEX). Food lovers united as they gathered to show off their own merchandise. Ranging from coffees to pastries, local delicacies to gelatos, and even cooking supplies, MAFBEX 2014 had every foodie’s needs (and wants) available, all cooked up by Worldbex Services International.

Aside from the variety of offerings from different brands, there were also cooking demonstrations and seminars where visitors got to watch and participate, as well as an open forum where presenters got to answer the visitors’ queries. Aside from that, there were also stalls that allowed visitors to sample different treats (yum!). The exhibitors were more than willing to assist everyone, too.
The best part about MAFBEX 2014 is the fact that the exhibitors got to interact with their buyers and create a better relationship with them, ultimately bonding through a common love: food.
Coinciding with MAFBEX 2014 was the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) ASEAN. These two events created the biggest food expo yet. These expos catered to thousands of food lovers looking for a one-of-a-kind foodie experience where they could get a taste of the latest food innovations and try them even before they were offered to the Philippine market. Another history mark in the food industry.
Guests got to rub elbows with top chefs and industry giants and experts, too! Be local or international, there was something for everyone.
