Top rookie Mac Belo of the Blackwater Elite was named the first PBA Player of the Week in the 42nd season after displaying impressive performances in his first two games as a pro.
Belo averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
He helped the Elite open their Philippine Cup campaign on a good note — with wins over Phoenix and Meralco.
