Bowl & Brew is situated at Unit1 131, V. Luna Road Ext. Sikatuna Village, Quezon City near UP Diliman, Ateneo de Manila University and The Learning Tree. The staff and owners of this restaurant all come from Lucban, Quezon.

The owners, Melo and Carol,  married and with children, decided to put up Bowl & Brew when they moved to Metro Manila because they craved the food prepared by their lolos and lolas. Driven by their desire to showcase rich Lucban culture, along with Melo’s hobby of collecting bowls from all over the country, the concept of Bowl & Brew was formed.

To stay consistent with their branding, they decided to build the restaurant in their own house’s garage. Opening at 10 in the morning and closing at 10Pm (Mon – Thu) and 11PM (Fri – Sun), Bowl & Brew is perfect for families, young professionals and students looking for a refreshing place to eat.

As if that hasn’t proven heir creativity and innovative thinking yet, they also designed and conceptualised their interiors themselves without any help from a professional interior designer whatsoever. Melo took care of the branding, while Carol prepared the recipes through a fusion of Italian and native cuisine.

Their menu is definitely made up of unique dishes. Divided into 6 parts, there’s Lutong Lucban (authentic Lucban recipes), Toppings in a Bowl (rice meals hotly served in a bowl), Pasta and Noodles, Sandwiches, Kiping it Sweet! (desserts including their original ice cream recipe – Sorbetes with Kiping Flakes and Suman) and Beverages.

Bowl & Brew is definitely the perfect place to go to if you want to be splashed with the colors of tradition and taste of deliciously cooked food. (Also, they post photos of their guests on their Facebook page consistently!)

Lucban, Quezon is famous for their annual Pahiyas Festival every 15th of May, wherein they honor San Isidro de Labrador (the patron saint of farmers) and decorate their houses with Kipings, which are made up of colored rice flour batter.
