Lost Child Found in Caloocan: Needs Help Finding Relatives

A concerned citizen noticed a young child along Caloocan 2 days ago and turns to Facebook in hopes that the parents or relatives of this child may recognize her and take her home.

Angelyn A. shares her story:

Thank you.

Nasa pangagalaga siya ng barangay hall no. 87 caloocan city. Salamat”

Rough English Tranlation:

“I was walking from the the bridge of SSS Bagong Barrio Caloocan at around 8:30opm on my way to the corner of Biglang Awa. I noticed a young girl who was walking and running, looking from side to side alongside me. I also noticed she wasn’t with anyone. I saw the Barangay watchmen in an open tricycle as well. So I asked her who she was with, but she refused to answer. Still, she continued to follow me. The Barangay watchmen approached me and said the kid was with them, apparently, the cops had brought her to them. The girl didn’t like it there so she ran towards EDSA, she also refused to go near them so the watchmen would just look at her from afar. After a while, the girl took my hand while following me to a brighter side of the street. That’s where I spoke with her again and asked her to go with the Barangay watchmen. The girl finally agreed. The Barangay watchmen said they will bring the child to DSWD the following day, but for now, we are hoping we can use social media to help this girl. Thank you.

The child is currently in Barangay Hall No. 87 in Caloocan City.”

A day has now passed and we are assuming that the child is already with DSWD. So if she looks familiar, or if you might know her parents, please do not hesitate to share this and help this little girl find her way back home. We are currently trying to get in touch with the person who shared this story for updates.
