Lonzo Ball, star point guard for UCLA, just revealed his signature shoe before even playing one game in the NBA.
The 19-year-old, who is expected to be a top 5 pick in the upcoming NBA draft, revealed the shoes just a few days after it was Nike, Adidas and Under Armour reportedly showed no interest in partnering with the Big Baller Brand.

The shoe, named the ZO2 Prime, has a tag price of $495. Why? Because the BBB brand “is aiming for Lonzo’s signature sneaker to tap into a new market—above the athletic performance kicks from the likes of Nike, Jordan, Adidas and Under Armour, but below the high-end designer shoes of Gucci, Prada or Louis Vuitton.”
A lot of people reacted on Twitter, bashing the shoe’s look. Especially the price, which is more expensive than the signature shoes of LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant combined.
Big Baller's loose! If you can't afford the ZO2'S, you're NOT a BIG BALLER! 💰

If you convert the $495 into our local currency, that’s around P25,000. That’s steep for a pair of shoes of someone who hasn’t been drafted yet.

What are your thoughts on the shoe? Would you buy a pair at this price?
