If you’ve ever wondered what Boracay looks like from an infinity pool right smack in the middle of the island, then there’s only one place you should go: Lime Hotel Boracay.
In the heart of Station 2, just along the main road, is a refreshing boutique hotel located above BonChon. It’s a bit tricky to find as it’s not too visible from the facade; but upon entering, you’ll see a striking pop of color that is bright enough to lift your mood for the rest of the day.
From the name itself, the interiors of this hotel are decked with cool hues that scream summer all year long, which is fitting for the year-round populated and frequented party island.

It’s a bit compact. There’s only one elevator that services the property but it’s good that they allotted more floor area to the rooms than the common areas. For areas lacking in natural light, they compensate for with bright and neon hues, which give the illusion of a bigger space. It clearly shows how they prioritize comfort and maximize experience for their clients.
All 46 rooms are spacious, well-lit and modestly designed, looking chic and completely functional at the same time. WiFi is available throughout the property and every room features UV double-glazed sliding doors and windows that minimize noise and glare.
The key attraction of Lime Hotel Boracay is the unobstructed view of the horizon from the pool area. You can watch the world famous Boracay sunset while having the beverage of your choice – bonus if you choose to book the rooms overlooking the pool on the 8th floor.
Their staff was very accommodating and helpful. One of them even agreed to take my photos by the edge of the deck pool. I just couldn’t miss the chance to get an adrenaline rush from a simple photoshoot! Turns out I was lucky because the staff member I approached was the same woman who had photographed Andi Eigenmann during her stay at Lime. The only downside to this hotel is that they don’t have an in-house kitchen, so you can’t order room service and other meals. However, your overnight stay still comes with free breakfast from their partner establishments. Choose between two hefty options: BonChon with their wide range of breakfast options or Boracay Coffee House with homey Filipino breakfast meals. It’s not a bad compensation. Plus, as mentioned, the central location makes it easy for you to walk to some of the popular dining places. The Talipapa is just 2 minutes away on foot from the hotel.
Who’d want to keep eating hotel food anyway?
I feel fortunate that I chanced upon this wonderful place during a spontaneous trip to the island that recently bagged the number 1 spot in the list of the most beautiful islands in the world.
With Boracay getting more and more popular each year, the need for affordable but totally comfortable accommodations has become a necessity. Among others I was looking at, Lime Hotel Boracay was the perfect match for my personal traveling checklist: prime location, easy on the pockets, and a revitalizing ambience.
As hostels and more affordable options are slowly gaining popularity, Lime caters to individuals who still want the luxury and convenience that hotels offer.
It’s the perfect example of comfort and style without necessarily spending a fortune. Being in a central spot on the island makes it even more appealing!
