Well, it seems that the force is strong with this one!
A star (a cluster of them, to be exact) that was just born was captured in an image… and looks like a double-bladed lightsaber!
NASA was able to capture an image showing the process of a new protostar system, and it could not be more timely with the hype around “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”! NASA describes the image as “cosmic, double-bladed lightsaber” with a “Jedi-like cloak of dust” surrounding it.
While it’s pretty exciting to think of it as an image of an actual Jedi, this is actually normal activity for a baby star with two jets extending in opposite directions.
