Lego Around the World this Christmas at SM The Block

When in Manila and you are just itching to travel, why don’t you drop by SM The Block and take a short trip around the world?  You can actually view a very creative set of landmarks made of nothing but Lego blocks!  Many of what you will see in the Lego Around the World exhibit are built by Jig Manaloto, a Filipino construction toy builder, who has been a Lego enthusiast since he was 6 years old.

This Lego Around the World Exhibit will last until January 12, 2012.   You have a little less than two months to enjoy this trip of a lifetime!  Here’s a sneak peak of the whole trip.

Ni Hao Ma? This is the Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China.

And if you want to brush up on your Chinese history, visit one of the emperor’s palaces.

Now if you prefer to go somewhere nearer, like in the Southeast Asian region, you may make a short stop at the Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia…

..as well as the Merlion in Singapore.

Anybody hungry?  Interestingly, there’s also the Green Grocer all the way from Chicago!  What’s so nice about this exhibit is that the countries are just a few footsteps away from each other.

Since Christmas is in the air, snow is already falling somewhere in the world..  this is probably the North Pole.
