For the past four years, League of Legends players from all over the country come together at the grandest annual event organized by Garena Philippines, RAMPAGE. This year it promises to be even bigger as it returns on August 22, 2015 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. Participants are sure to enjoy amped up versions of the PGS Finals and the Cosplay Clash as well as the several new features mixed in.
COSPLAY CLASH
The grandest League of Legends cosplay competition comes back with a vengeance. This time around it boasts bigger cash prizes and surprise treats for all cosplayers. There is a total of PHP 200,000 to be won on the day itself. All hopefuls will be judged by famous personalities like Riot Spiffy, Jay Tablante, and Liui Aquino.
PGS PLAYOFFS
The top teams from the Pro Gaming Series 2015 Summer Split will be duking it out on stage and in front of a live audience. It’s the perfect setting for the explosive matches between our country’s best. To top it off, the champions win themselves both the glory of victory and PHP 150,000. This year’s contenders are Imperium Pro Team (IPT), Mineski.Globe (MSKI), and Imperium Pro Team Blue (IPTB).
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Rampage 2015 rolls out a number of cool new treats for all the guests in attendance. There will be a DJ Sona performance by DJ Cathy Frey, dance numbers from Asia’s Got Talent finalist Junior New System and the AMA Dance Troupe, and special appearances from the A-Plus Babes and Alodia Gosiengfiao. The program will be hosted by crowd favorites like Allyza Taylor, GG Sphere, and Kuya Jobert.
Apart from the big events, participants will also have the chance to deck themselves out in the various merchandise up for sale. From Blitzcrank hoodies to GGWP ballers, there’s an item for every gold level. The selection and the prices are now up on the Rampage 2015 website.
