The official theme song for the 2019 South East Asian Games has been released on Tuesday, September 3, and sung by world-renowned singer and actress Lea Salonga.
Titled “We Win As One,” the theme song was composed by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab and written by Floy Quintos. Cayabyab also arranged the song together with seasoned composer and music producer Jimmy Antiporda.
Although it was meant to be sung by 11 singers, Cayabyab revealed that they had to do a major “reformatting” of the song just for it to fit Salonga. Amazingly enough, he said she was able to pull it off in just one try.

The Philippines will be hosting the 30th SEA Games from November 30 to December 11, 2019 in various venues. It was back in 2005 when the country last hosted the games.
