Behind the recipe is a foodie and a kitchen fairy who uses both her instincts and her basic knowledge when cooking. Vida, a not-so-typical mom, traces her memories back to her teenage days when she tried making her very first lasagna. Always the unconventional one, she thought of putting a twist to the usual dish by making a creamy melted version. Her lasagna, just like any other dish that comes out of her kitchen, instantly became a household favorite.
One afternoon during the Enhanced Community Quarantine, Vida’s family craved for the household lasagna and tried to make one. On a whim, the idea of sharing the dish with other families came about. Although they only catered to family and friends in the beginning, Lasagna MNL now gets reviews and heart-warming feedback from strangers-turned-customers-turned-advocates.
