Caught on Cam: Laglag Barya Gang Steals Purse Fast
Recently, we posted about the riding in tandem holdup along Mindanao Ave. that happened in broad daylight. Another crime happened in broad daylight, inside what looks like a fastfood joint. The modus operandi is called “laglag barya” where the crooks grab the attention of the victim by dropping coins on the floor. While the victim’s attention is set on the coins, another crook quickly grabs whatever important belongings that they can.
For this incident, the crooks took the purse of the victim. It was done quickly so don’t take your eyes off the video.
