In the town of Bangar, La Union, there is a one-of-a-kind automobile roaming the streets, and is capturing the attention of not just locals, but even netizens.

This vehicle, called the “Kotse-kel“, is taken from kotse and the last syllable of traysikel. The kotse-kel is a two-seater, and comes with its own cooler and back compartment. The exterior also looks just like a mini-car. Unlike a conventional tricycle, the kotse-kel takes pride in its comfort and convenience that it gives to its passengers, with plush seats and cool interiors.

Its creator, Lyndon Olba, spent about 5 months customizing his tricycle into the famous mini-car invention. Olba originally intended for this to be a one-seater, just to bring his kids to school. Up to date, his extraordinary invention is still for family use. According to him, it costs about P60,000 to customize the kotse-kel.
