Tablo of Korean group Epik High couldn’t contain his excitement after our very own Lea Salonga gave him a shoutout on Twitter!
The Korean rapper was over the moon by Lea’s words of praise for the well-known hip-hop group. “Thanks to a nudge, I’ve now just discovered #EpikHigh. Where on earth have I been… their stuff is fantastic!” she wrote in her tweet.
Upon seeing this, Tablo quickly shared it and gushed, “OH MY GOD LEA SALONGA!!!!!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU HEARD MY MUSIC!!!! I AM A LIFELONG FAN!!!!”

Epik High, which debuted in 2003 and has since dominated music charts and received multiple accolades since, recently launched the first half of their latest double-album last week called “Epik High is Here,” consisting of 10 songs.
Tablo is the leader and producer of the group and is also the founder of independent music label HIGHGRND (High Ground), housing bands Hyukoh and The Black Skirts.
Meanwhile, Lea is known for sharing her love and appreciation for Kpop bands online and is even a self-confessed fan of BTS.
