Without a doubt, my favorite Game of Thrones couple on the show so far has got to be Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen. Despite the awkwardness and difficulties they went through in the beginning, their love grew so strong and fierce, I rooted for them all the way. Well, all the way until Drogo’s demise and that of their son, that is.
So, when I watched the first episode of Game of Thrones season 6, my heart burst with pure love when Dany still stood by her Drogo when talking to another Khal (let’s forget for a second that the whole Daario thing didn’t happen).
Well, it turns out Drogo’s heart burst with pure love, too, because actor Jason Momoa who played Khal Drogo in the series, posted screenshots of the episode on his Instagram account @prideofgypsies as follows:
Aren’t they just the cutest??? Here’s to hoping D&D still meet up and have babies in the show someday… when the sun rises in the West and sets in the East… Sigh.
