The haunting track featuring a carnival vibe begs the question, “What if rich, white, straight men didn’t rule the world anymore?” in response to the persisting ill-treatment of women, minority groups, and the LGBTQ+ community by men in power.

Throughout the song, Kesha lists down situations that show just how much people’s lives would be improved if only those in power were not driven by hatred and greed.

She took to Instagram minutes before uploading the full song on YouTube to share with her fans the big news. “I don’t know where it’s going to go or what it’s going to be on,” she said of the single. “But I don’t want it to just sit on my computer.”
